How long will a fridge run on a car battery?
Considering most fridges use around 5A per hour at their absolute most, that gives you almost 48 hours of running time without putting any charge into the batteries at all. NEXT, THE 12V BATTERY CHARGER: Because you’re running a large battery bank, you need some serious charging ability.
How many volts does a car fridge use?
This is not the case – you should not run your battery to below 50% of charge, which is normally around 12.2 – 12.3 volts. A fridge will continue to run well below this until the low-level alarm goes off and cuts the power. Most fridges have a low-level cut-out, but it’s not usually until well under 12 volts.
How long does a 100 Ah battery last?
Therefore a 100ah (amp hour) battery will last for 1000 hours.
How long will a 100Ah battery run an appliance that requires 100W?
A 12V 100ah battery can run a 100W appliance for 20 hours at a draw of 5 amps/hour. Due to inverter inefficiency and energy losses, drawing more than 5 amps an hour reduces the ah capacity rapidly, but drawing less slows the discharge rate.

Why does the battery on my WAECO turn off?
Did some investigating with a volt meter today. As a few people have experienced the waeco can cut out (battery protection) even on a full battery a little too early, many suggested it was voltage drop off across the cable. I was always reluctant to set it to low as that could in theory could damage the battery.

When did the Waeco car fridge come out?
Yes, lots. We bought our Waeco car fridge in 2007, with a Waeco fridge slide. It was a promotional pack: fridge, insulating cover, tie down straps, a RAPS (Waeco 12V power unit with one Merritt socket and one cigarette lighter socket), and a portable 36Ah battery.
