2002 Hyundai Santa Fe: Replacing Transmission Oil? 3

I currently own a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe (GLS) V6 2.7L. I would like to know if I should change the filter today because I need to change the fluid (I used ATF: Contains SPIII). 30,000 miles not changed (liquid is now dark brown). Not sure if I have a filter / bypass filter in the oil pan. I'm also wondering if I have a one way drain plug for that. Unfortunately, I did not see anything else in my operating instructions. I usually do this with my grandparents, but I always have to do some research to find the answers to these things (I have to be specific), to take the initiative in what we do with our car first. We are not sure about that. . . . I would really appreciate any advice on this questionable information.

Haynes' manual states that in order to remove a filter, you must remove a number of items in it, not just the pan or anything. Some people say that this car needs to be removed to get there, although I do not think that is true. They sell spin filters, but I don't think I have one, so you should probably go to Santa Fe to check it out. Drain plug is for use. This car also uses what they call Diamond SP111 fluid and I have seen the equivalent of the only liquid castrol car ignition fluid.

Contact the local team who will place it on the rack and backwash and replace the fluid for you. This is where this special offer costs 9 169 and it's worth it.

I base my answer on my son's 2005 Hyundai Tucson V6. Your transmission has a drain plug, not a filter, unless it is connected. Shipping containers are not easy to remove and are not likely to close properly. If you look at the filter in January, it is an oil filter. I think Hyundai uses a special fluid for automatic transmission. Don't do easy things with the wrong liquid! I thought I should buy mine from the dealer, but as I was saving money in LR, I needed the right liquid. Autotrans Noays is more complex and uses manufacturers. Fluid specifications are very important. Also clean the magnetic drain plug of any particles.

It turns out that after 2001, they stopped using Transformers.
